IKEA's new app coming out in 2014 is something you need to start talking about. I have always been a fan of any augmented reality apps, the passion started with Nintendo. If you don't know what it is or haven't seen it I urge you to. 



With technologies advancing and Nintendo having done this 2 years ago why have they only started to realise its potential! IKEA thank you,  no more boring apps with pages of products, more augmented reality apps please.

The new IKEA app will let users simply scan the IKEA Catalogue with the app, place the printed catalogue in place of where they’d like to see the furniture, and choose a product—with the help of augmented-reality, the app would show what products would look like in place of the physical catalogue.
